IMPERMANENCE

For the vast majority of humans, everything we were, are, and will be will one day perish and be forgotten within a few generations. For some, a line or two will remain in the history books (at the discretion of historians and the powers that be).  But our essence, our vitality, our most precious moments are ephemeral. Each moment, this moment, is all we truly have. Everything we love and hold dear in this human experience will pass.  Full presence…inner stillness, opens us to equanimity amidst the impermanence. Flow. These images of people and places from the Western Hemisphere, Europe, and Middle East capture such fleeting glimpses. The moments we may recall as our human vessels blink out of existence.
