MIXED MEDIA

The mixed media series blurs the lines between photography and painting as a commentary on visual illusions and constructed realities. The archival photographs are printed digitally using archival carbon pigment inks on 100% cotton rag museum quality paper, mounted on Tung wood cradled panels, bordered with hand cut figured maple veneers, and fused with organic beeswax and damar resin using a heat gun for enhanced depth and texture.
